The Excel is possibly the best wedge shaped Lotus to go for? It was Mike Kimberley’s [former Lotus boss] all time favorite car they made. I was actually a joint venture with Toyota, and therefore had much better reliability. Much was shared with the Supra, pictured below, such as the gear box and even the door handles…
